According to media sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the Sakriya Sadasyata Abhiyan in the presence of BJP National President J P Nadda. In a social media post, Mr Modi said, as a party worker, he is proud to become the first Sakriya Sadasya. He said, this is a movement which will further strengthen the BJP at the grassroots and ensure the effective contribution of Party Karyakartas for national progress.
The Prime Minister said, in order to be an active member, a Karyakarta has to register 50 members either at a single booth or in a Vidhan Sabha seat. He said, such Karyakartas will be eligible to contest elections for a Mandal Committee and above. Mr Modi said, at the same time, they will get several opportunities to work for the party in the times to come.
