Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma informed via tweet that “On the eve of Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s visit to Assam, we witnessed an unprecedented surge of emotion & enthusiasm across cities where 7 new cancer hospitals are being inaugurated viz Dibrugarh, Barpeta, Darrang, Jorhat, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Tezpur.”
CM Sarma also tweeted that “GOI and GOA are committed to ensure that our people get the best medical support & the cancer hospitals being set up with Tata Trusts are designed to ensure we are able to cater to all needs of our people. Grateful to Hon PM for his generosity to guide us in this endeavour.”
