
According to media sources, President Droupadi Murmu has congratulated C. P. Radhakrishnan on being elected as the Vice President of India. In a social media post, the President said that Mr. Radhakrishnan’s decades of rich experience in public life will contribute significantly to the nation’s progress. President Murmu has also extended her wishes to the newly elected Vice President for a successful and impactful tenure.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also extended his greetings to CP Radhakrishnan on winning the 2025 Vice Presidential election. In a social media post, Mr. Modi said that his life has always been devoted to serving society and empowering the poor and marginalised. The Prime Minister said that he is confident that he will be an outstanding Vice President, who will strengthen the country’s Constitutional values and enhance Parliamentary discourse.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Amit Shah also congratulated NDA’s Vice-Presidential candidate C.P. Radhakrishnan for being elected as the Vice President. In a social media post, Mr Shah extended his wishes to C P Radhakrishnan for his journey as the custodian of the sanctity of the Upper House.
