New Delhi: As part of the Special Swachhta Campaign 2.0, RINL, Visakhapatnam steel plant organized an awareness programme “Parivarthan” on Menstrual Hygiene at Z.P.H School, Islampeta, to inculcate good hygienic lifestyle for the class 6th to 9th adolescent girl students.
Dr. G Sujatha, Chief Specialist (O&G), visakha steel general hospital (VSGH) imparted knowledge on Menstrual Hygiene and created awareness on good hygienic practices, wherein 120 students along with teachers attended this session. Social Prohibitions and lack of adequate information on sanitation and hygienic facilities were discussed openly.
The programme was coordinated by the corporate social responsibility (CSR) department of the Visakhapatnam steel plant.
