According to media sources, Senior BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar today hit out at the Congress for allegedly maintaining silence over the allegations of exploitation of women in the film industry in Kerala. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi this afternoon, Mr. Chandrasekhar said that the Hema Committee report has spotlighted the extensive exploitation and harassment of women in the film industry in Kerala under successive governments of both Congress and the Left. The BJP leader questioned the Congress for not speaking up about the issue of crimes against women.
