Today, Chief Minister of Meghalaya Conrad K Sangma tweeted, “The Entrepreneurship Ecosystem of Meghalaya is further Elevated through the launch of the CM-ELEVATE program. CM-ELEVATE will support over 20,000 Entrepreneurs across Meghalaya for the next 5 years with a substantial investment of ₹300 Crore. A financial support to the tune of 35-75% of the project cost will be extended to individual entrepreneurs, collectives, village organizations and traditional institutions to take up businesses.”
CM Sangma also tweeted, “The government will provide the subsidy and complete handholding support to businesses in collaboration with the banks. CM-ELEVATE is one step further in our efforts to support the entrepreneurs of Meghalaya after witnessing the positive impact of our PRIME program. The program will Engage, Employ and Empower Entrepreneurs, create opportunities for our youth and will heighten the growth index of the State.”
