“The Kashmir Files” is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language film written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Abhishek Agarwal which is based on the lives of Kashmiri Pandits & is inspired by real incidents. The film tells the story of the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in the early 1990’s. Here Anupam kher and Mithun Chakraborty plays the lead roles.
Vivek said about the film “ I decided to make a film about people who did not pick up guns or abuse anyone. I wanted to show the real truth & cinema is a medium through which people get to understand the pain and suffering of Kashmiri Pandits.”
The file is releasing on 11th march 2022 in theatres.
