Airports Authority of India (AAI) said that the newly constructed Integrated Cargo Complex at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, Chandigarh has commenced its operations recently. Today, Official Twitter Account of Airports Authority of India (AAI) tweeted, “The newly constructed Integrated Cargo Complex at #ChandigarhAirport @IXCairport has commenced its operations recently. Built on an area of 2400 sqm. at a project cost of ₹ 12.45 Crore , the cargo complex will assist in boosting the region’s economic growth.”
Airports Authority of India (AAI) said that this New Complex is equipped with Cold Storage, Reefer Van, High-Security Equipment, Fork Lifts, Scissors Lift, Pallets, Weighing Scales and Trolleys and is capable enough to handle 2500 MT Cargo.
