This Day That Year on 10th May, 2000: ‘Navkiran’, the first WAP 7 Electric Locomotive with 6000 HP, was build by Indian Railways at Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW). This class off locomotive is presently hauling prestigious train services such as Rajdhani and Shatabdi trains over the Indian Railways Network.
