Two multi-party delegations return with successful international outreach

According to media sources, Out of seven multi-party delegations carrying the message of India’s principled and resolute stand against terrorism, two delegations have now returned to India after concluding their successful visit to respective countries. During the visit, the delegations engaged with foreign leaders, senior officials, influential think tanks, media, and the Indian diaspora as part of their international outreach. The delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi, has returned to India after concluding their five nations visit to Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia and Russia. Talking exclusively to Akashvani News, Samajwadi Party MP, Rajeev Rai, who was part of this delegation, said that they briefed about the facts and India’s stand against terrorism in front of Political leaders and Think tanks of the various countries during their visit. Mr. Rai said that the delegation received positive support for India’s affirmation against the terrorism.

Another all-party delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda also returned today after concluding its visits to Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. The delegation met with External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar after returning to New Delhi. Talking to the media after meeting with Dr Jaishankar, diplomat Harsh Vardhan Shringla, who is also a member of the delegation said that the delegation provided their feedback and inputs to the Minister. He said that Dr Jaishankar congratulated the delegation, stating that all the objectives have been fulfilled.

The high-level multi-party delegation led by NCP (SCP) MP Supriya Sule to Egypt today called on Foreign Minister of Egypt Dr. Badr Abdelatty. Both sides acknowledged the growing momentum in Strategic Partnership between India and Egypt. Foreign Minister Abdelatty reiterated Egypt’s solidarity to India’s fight against terrorism and welcomed further strengthening of bilateral collaboration on counter terrorism.
The delegation led by Shiv Sena MP Dr Shrikanth Shinde concluded a successful visit to Liberia, strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fight against terrorism in all its forms. The all-party parliamentary delegation led by JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, held a meeting with representatives of the Southeast Asia Regional Centre for Counter-Terrorism (SEARCCT) led by its Director General Datin Paduka Nur Ashikin Mohd Taib in Kuala Lumpur. The delegation elaborated India’s steadfast and principled position of zero tolerance towards terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, especially in light of the recent cross-border terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
