Peace for Ukraine must be underwritten by its ability to defend itself today and in the future. The U.S. will help ensure Ukraine can do both.
President Biden also tweeted- Today, the U.S. and Ukraine took a step to strengthen Ukraine’s defense in the war for its independence. By signing an agreement to support Ukraine’s efforts to defend itself and deter future aggression, we’re showing Putin that we stand together – now and for decades to come.
