According to Media Sources, The Union Budget 2026-27 will be presented on the 1st of February in the Lok Sabha. The Budget Session of Parliament will commence on the 28th of this month and will continue till the 2nd of April. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that the process of budget presentation will begin at 11:00 AM in the Lower House on the 1st of February. He was replying to a question in this regard during a press conference in New Delhi today.
As Per Media Sources, Earlier, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the first phase of the Budget Session, which will begin on 28th January, will conclude on 13th February. The Parliament will reassemble for the second phase on the 9th of March and will continue till the 2nd of April. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that it is a vital step towards meaningful debate and people-centric governance. The Minister informed that on the recommendation of the Central government, President Droupadi Murmu has approved the summoning of both the Houses of Parliament for the Budget Session 2026.
