Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Thakur yesterday unveiled the logo and mascot of the inaugural edition of the Khelo India Para-Games beginning from 11th November in New Delhi. According to Media Sources, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Thakur said that Khelo India has proven to be a game-changer and played a pivotal role in promoting sports and taking it up as a career.
He also said, “The resounding success of our athletes across tournaments is a shining example of this. In our effort to provide our specially-abled athletes with the best facilities, exposure, and competition, this initiative has been launched.”
Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that he has no doubt that the Khelo India Para-Games will be an enormous success and will inspire a new generation of para-athletes to pursue their dreams.
