According to media sources, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju has criticized the opposition for disrupting the proceedings of the Parliament. Talking to media outside parliament today, Mr Rijiju criticized the opposition of creating disruptions in the Lok Sabha when the House took up discussion on India’s first astronaut aboard the International Space Station, focusing on the critical role of the space programme for Viksit Bharat by 2047. He said, Parliament always stands to honour the achievements made by India.
Mr Rijiju further said, when the Election Commission does some work and if someone has any objection, then they should write to the Election Commission and file an appeal. He said, Election Commission of India has also asked for some documents from the Congress party related to the allegations, then it the responsibility of the party to respect the Constitutional body and file a reply.
