Today, Uttar Pradesh government will present its budget for the financial year 2022-23. Suresh Khanna is set to table the budget before the assembly, giving much-needed fuel to the BJP’s promises made in its Lok Kalyan Patra before the state polls. In fiscal year 2021-22, the state government presented a budget of Rs 5.50 lakh crore. With the presentation of supplementary budgets, its size increased to Rs 5.66 lakh crore.
