There was a time when some leaders used to say that digital transition is nothing but a useless thing for the people of India. But the world is seeing the capability and wisdom of the people of India..” Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed to all the members of the Indian Newspapers Society. Here, PM Modi said, “I urge all of you to increase your global pages.. very soon we are going to see India becoming the 3rd largest economy. You can also very well fulfill the responsibility of taking India’s successes to every corner of the world. The image of a nation abroad has a direct impact on its economy and growth..”
Prime Minister Modi said that” There was a time when some politicians used to say that digital transactions were not meant for the people of India. They believed that modern technology couldn’t work in this country. However, the world is witnessing the capabilities of Indian people. Due to India’s UPI and modern digital public infrastructure, ease of living of people has improved, and it has become easier for them to send money across countries.”
