According to media sources, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have congratulated Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Indian Navy on the successful launch of India’s heaviest communication satellite, CMS-03. In a social media post, Vice President Radhakrishnan highlighted how India’s mighty LVM3-M5 rocket roared to the skies once again with the successful launch of GSAT-7R (CMS-03). He pointed out that it is now the heaviest and most advanced communication satellite for the Indian Navy placed into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO).
The Vice President mentioned that this indigenously developed satellite will strengthen space-based communications, connectivity, and maritime domain awareness across the Indian Ocean Region. He called it another proud milestone in Atmanirbhar Bharat and said that ISRO continues to script remarkable milestones in space exploration.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi commended how the space sector has become synonymous with excellence and innovation. He highlighted that these successes fueled by the nation’s space scientists have furthered national progress and empowered countless lives.
