According to Media Sources, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today inaugurated the Jowai-Nartiang-Kdiap-Khanduli Road at Wahiajer Football Stadium in Meghalaya. Funded by the New Development Bank with an estimated investment exceeding ₹59 crore, the road will enhance connectivity, expand access to markets and essential services, and bolster livelihoods in Meghalaya’s West Jaintia Hills district.
As Per Media Sources, Today, Office of Nirmala Sitharaman posted on social media platform ‘X’, “Smt @nsitharaman inaugurated the Jowai-Nartiang-Kdiap-Khanduli (JNKK) Road at Wahiajer Football Stadium in Meghalaya. Funded by the New Development Bank at an estimated cost of over ₹59 crore, the road will strengthen connectivity, improve access to markets and essential services and support livelihoods in Meghalaya’s West Jaintia Hills district.”
